What is meet 2 eat?
Our mission is quite simple; we bring older adults together and provide training with three things, eating healthily, improving the way you shop and providing new cooking skills.
If you, or someone you know, are aged 50 or over perhaps rely on someone else for day-to-day cooking or shopping needs, lacks confidence in the kitchen or are showing signs of losing interest in food, then we would love you to get in touch and come along.
We welcome food lovers to reluctant cooks, grumpy shoppers and everyone in between. If you come along we will introduce you to great people as well as provide you with the skills you need to eat yourself healthy, shop effectively, waste less and cook a few simple healthy meals.
Each of the 5 sessions are run by our professional nutritionist, inconvenient, accessible local venues. Groups are limited to 12 people of a similar age and frame of mind.
The course consists of 5, 3 hour sessions run over a 5 week period so they won’t demand too much of your time, but it is long enough to get to know the people on the course and come away with new skills.
